Brownie Berry Cobbler

Think molten cake, fudgy brownies, and sweet berries all jumped in a 9x13 for a delectable treat.

Brownie Berry Cobbler

Ingredients
  • 1 box Duncan Hines dark chocolate brownie mix (plus eggs, oil, water)
  • 1 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 tbsp cream
  • 1 lb strawberries, hulled and quartered
  • 1 pint raspberries
Preheat oven to 350F.

Prepare the brownie mix batter according to package instructions and set aside.

In a double boiler, over medium heat, melt the chocolate and cream. Stir occasionally until the mixture is smooth and shinny.

Pour one third of the brownie batter into a greased 13x9 baking dish. Spread evenly to coat the bottom of the pan. Sprinkle the berries evenly over the top of the brownie batter. Pour the melted chocolate ganache over the berries. Pour the remaining brownie batter over the ganache and spread evenly to coat the top.

Bake at 350F for 45 minutes until the center of the brownies have puffed and the top is slightly crisp.

Serves 12

Notes from the Chef
-If you don't serve this dessert warm with vanilla ice cream, you're wrong
-Raspberries and strawberries happen to be on sale that day, but I'm sure a few blueberries or blackberries wouldn't hurt this situation either
