Fall Ladies' Brunch
What an exciting time of year to host an intimate brunch with some of my closest ladies! With Fall comes an abundance of warm spices and flavors. I was simply thrilled to pull together this seasonal brunch menu.

For a complete brunch menu, I like to include a few different components:
- protein of some sort - be it breakfast meats or an egg dish
- a sweet bread or roll
- seasonal fruit
Ordinarily, I prefer a more savory brunch selection. I often pull together a quiche or egg casserole. However, I was simply craving indulging in a sweet treat given the holiday season! So I opted to make a pumpkin french toast bake. For a fun textural element, I add a handful of pecans and cranberries.
I wanted to keep the remainder of the menu simple - a bowl full of soft and creamy scrambled eggs, a stack of turkey sausage links, and a whole mess of sliced apples and pears. As a means of elevating the fruit a bit, I whisked together a bit of vanilla Greek yogurt with cinnamon and honey.
Brew a big ol' pot of coffee, and BOOM, ladies' brunch! Fortunately, the french toast bake is easy to prep in advance. In fact, I think it only gets better the longer you allow it to set. So it was easy to roll right out of bed, brown a bit of sausage, and scramble up some eggs!
Entertaining has never been easier.
