Soy Orange Salmon

Glazed salmon is a go-to of mine for impressive yet easy entertaining, but it's also a quick and healthy weeknight meal! This particular glaze is packed full of citrus flavor.

Soy Orange Salmon

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp sesame oil
  • zest of an orange
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • sriracha to taste
  • 3/4lb salmon, skin removed
Preheat oven to 425F. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil (you'll thank me later), and coat with non-stick spray.

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients but the salmon. Place the salmon in the bowl with the marinade and coat all sides. Marinate for 10 to 15 minutes in fridge.

Place the salmon in the middle of the baking pan. Spoon a bit of the remaining marinade over the top of the salmon. Bake for 20 minutes.

Serves 2

Notes from the Chef:
-Serve along steamed rice and a veggie for a speedy quick dinner
-Don't be alarmed if you're smelling something burn - some of the marinade may run off onto the pan
