Almond Popovers
My go-to for a quick breakfast bread. Something about almond extract is just exceptional!
Almond Popovers
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 2 egg
- 1 cup milk, lukewarm
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
Preheat oven to 400F.
Using a pastry brush, coat 8 muffin tins with 1 tbsp of butter. Heat in the oven for 5 minutes.
In a blender, whip the eggs until they are pale yellow in color. Add the milk, vanilla, and almond extract. Blend in the flour, salt, and butter. Whip until smooth.
Divide the batter evenly among the 8 tins. Immediately return the pan to the oven. Bake for 35 minutes. Serve immediately.
Serves 4
